Big data center sites move huge amounts of soil, concrete and fuel. AAAT3 manages stormwater, silica, spills and hazardous materials so fines, stop work orders and exposure claims never hit your project.
- SWPPP & stormwater
- Silica control
- Spill prevention
- Hazmat & waste
- Fuel & battery storage
By the numbers
What poor environmental control costs
Maximum EPA penalty per day, per violation, for construction stormwater permit violations
EPA, 2024Construction workers exposed to respirable crystalline silica
OSHA silica ruleLives OSHA estimates its silica rule saves each year, plus 900 new silicosis cases prevented
OSHA silica ruleConstruction air samples that exceeded the OSHA asbestos limit in a federal review
CDC MMWR, 2017What’s included
Environmental and hazmat control, start to finish
We keep the paperwork, the inspections and the field controls in line with your permits.
Stormwater and erosion control
Data center sites disturb many acres. Inspectors check the paperwork and the silt fence.
- SWPPP review and updates
- Weekly and rain event inspections
- BMP install and repair tracking
- Concrete washout and track out control
Silica, dust and air
Cutting, drilling and grinding concrete puts silica in the air your crews breathe.
- Written silica exposure control plans
- Table 1 controls and air monitoring
- Dust control for neighbors and live halls
- Respirator program support
Spills, fuel and hazmat
Generators, fuel tanks and batteries bring spill and chemical risks to the site.
- Spill prevention and response plans
- Fuel and chemical storage audits
- Hazardous waste tracking and manifests
- Battery and electrolyte handling
Project management and consulting
Project management and consulting for environmental work
AAAT3 can run your environmental compliance program, oversee environmental subs or audit the site before regulators do.
Environmental compliance management
We manage SWPPP inspections, permits, logs and corrective actions for the life of the project.
Best for: Large sites with stormwater and air permitsSilica and exposure control consulting
Exposure control plans, monitoring strategy and respirator program support.
Best for: Concrete heavy work and interior renovationsHazmat and waste program management
Storage, labeling, manifests and disposal tracked for every hazardous material on site.
Best for: Sites with fuel, batteries, coolants and chemicalsSpill prevention planning
SPCC style planning, spill kits and drills for fuel and generator work.
Best for: Generator yards and fuel systemsPre-inspection compliance audits
Mock regulator inspections with a fix list before the real one shows up.
Best for: Sites expecting EPA or state inspectionsContaminated soil and hazmat oversight
Oversight of abatement and soil removal contractors with documentation.
Best for: Brownfield sites and older buildingsHow it works
From permit to final stabilization

Permits, SWPPP and hazmat inventory.
Plan
Controls, monitoring and spill plans.
Install
BMPs, washouts and storage set up.
Inspect
Weekly and rain event inspections.
Correct
Fixes logged and closed on time.
Close
Final stabilization and permit termination.

Common questions
What is a SWPPP?
A stormwater pollution prevention plan describes how a construction site controls erosion, sediment and pollutants. Most sites disturbing an acre or more need one under their stormwater permit.
How often are stormwater inspections required?
Most permits require inspections at least every 7 days or every 14 days plus after qualifying rain events. Your permit sets the exact schedule.
What does OSHA require for silica?
A written exposure control plan, Table 1 controls or exposure monitoring, respirators where needed, housekeeping rules and medical exams for workers who wear respirators 30 or more days a year.
Can AAAT3 manage our environmental compliance?
Yes. We run inspections, logs, permits and corrective actions for the life of the project.
Do you handle hazardous waste?
We track storage, labeling, manifests and disposal and oversee licensed waste contractors.
