Site Logistics & Security: Get Crews Through the Gate and to Work

Badging, background checks, escorts, laydown and parking can stall a job before work starts. AAAT3 plans them early so people get through the gate and start on time.

How we do it

Step by step

  1. Access rules

Learn the owner’s or agency’s rules for badges, escorts and restricted areas.

  2. Roster and checks

Collect names and forms, and start background checks as early as possible.

  3. Badging schedule

Line up badge appointments so each crew is cleared before its start date.

  4. Site logistics plan

Lay out laydown, parking, deliveries, haul routes and staging.

  5. Orientation and site rules

Run orientation before work and keep a signed record for every worker.

  6. Daily gate control

Track who is on site, escorts and deliveries every day.

  7. Demobilization

Collect badges, close out access and clear laydown areas.

Common problems

Where this usually goes wrong

Badges take weeks

We start checks as soon as names are known, before mobilization.

No room for laydown

Live facilities and data centers are tight. We plan staging and just-in-time deliveries.

Not enough escorts

We plan escort ratios by area and shift so crews are not standing at the gate.

Orientation skipped

No orientation, no badge. We keep signed records for every worker.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you handle badging at a military base?

We prepare the rosters, forms and schedule and coordinate with the installation’s process. The installation runs the actual checks.

How early should badging start?

As soon as you have names. Federal background checks can take weeks, so start before mobilization.

Do you plan access for live data centers?

Yes. We plan escorts, restricted areas, deliveries and staging around a facility that stays in operation.
